Ashland’s farmers market is every saturday in downtown Ashland. The market is generally smaller than its counterparts in Richmond, and focuses on farmers’ food only.


The market is next to the Town Hall and they close off a parking lot to house all the vendors. The market provides a time to socialize, pick up fresh food and learn.

Bruce and Nancy Haynes of Red Dog Farm are one of the regular vendors. And they also bring the farms namesake when they can–and he is a big hit with many of the market goers.
