Bill and Kim welcomed me into their home so that I could see how they used their Victory CSA and other local foods. The meal was mostly prepared by Bill, who is a trained chef.

On the menu was a pesto chicken salad sandwich, tomato salad, chilled cucumber soup and fresh fruit.


All of the produce came from Victory Farm. Most of the other ingredients for the sandwich, salad and soup came from local sources, including the chicken and bread, which was baked locally at Montana Gold (I am not sure where their ingredients come from). The non-local ingredients were: mayonnaise, sour cream, olives and spices.


Bill and Kim prepared the meal for me as well, and it was delicious.
